Sunday Stroll, 2002

Watercolor

28”W x 22”H

Artist Statement

I paint in watercolor to express the beauty and wonders of nature and people in their natural environment.
And I endeavor to portray the essence of the subject being painted by emotionally investing myself in the reality of the moment.
I paint to tell a story and hopefully remind the viewer of special places and special moments in people's lives.
Sunday Stroll was a photo taken in Ireland many years ago. The women intrigued me, and I wondered what they were discussing.
